1. How do I register for iFlog?
You can find the register icon under the iFlog logo on the top left of the screen. Then its as easy as following the prompts and adding in your details.
2. How do I login into the site every new time I visit?
There is a Login icon under the iFlog logo on the top left of the main page. After selecting this enter in your username you created when registering on iFlog and your password.
3. How do I make an ad?
There are numerous ways to make an ad, you can select the red 'iFlog New Ad' tab along the top bar or select one of the options of what type of ad you would like to create highlighted on the far right of the home page, by selecting an online ad, print ad or both to be produced. From there you are to follow the five steps in creating your ad.
4. How do I view the current ads I have produced?
On the right in orange there is a tab called 'My Account' after selecting it, scroll down the left of the screen and you will spot a tab that reads 'current ads' this will lead you to a list of all the current ads you have running in both print or online.
5. How do I change my personal details or my password?
From the 'My Account' tab located on the right side of the home page you will find on the left of the screen a 'change details' and a 'change password' tab select either and proceed with changing your information.
6. How do I find out about the publications deadlines?
There is a deadline tab along the top of the scene, this will lead you to 3D World and Drum Media's deadlines and some information on the publication, which will also help you when selecting which you want your advertisement to be advertised in.
7. If I need further help or have a suggestion for the site who do I turn to?
If you would like further assistance with the site, have a suggestion or would like to give some feedback you can head to the 'Contact' tab and fill in the electronic form supplied or proceed to the additional information at the bottom with call numbers, emails and addresses.
8. Am I able to just search the site and not create an ad?
Yes certainly, if you are looking for work, equipment, a band or a band member you have come to the right place. Presented along the left wall of the home page is a heading called 'categories' and underneath are all the tabs to fasten your search through the site. Alternatively you can use the search engine above the categories area or even see the latest deals posted on the right of the categories area.
9. Can I add an image to my ad and how?
Yes you can, in the "Design your Print and Online Ad" section of creating your online or print ad you will be given the option whether to add a picture to your ad. This will appear at the top of the section under "Upload Images". Click on the "manage" button and follow the steps. If you want to remove, change or add images, you can come back to this screen at anytime. You will be able to upload 2 online images for all package types, but a print image oly if you choose our Premium Offer.
10. How many editions can I run my ad for?
The FREE PACKAGE will run for 4 editions automatically. If you book the PREMIUM PACKAGE, the most you can run your ad for is 26 editions. If you wish to book for longer than that, please contact us on the contact page. The ONLINE PACKAGE will run for 4 weeks on iflog.com.au.
11. How do I pay for the ad I have created?
In Step 5 of creating your ad, down the very bottom with be two payment options in which you are to select one, the options are to pay by Credit Card or by PayPal. You will only be requested to do this if you choose our Premium Package. All other packages are FREE and completion of your ad booking will occur when you press "Finish".
12. Where can I view all my dealings I have undergone through the site?
Through the 'My Account' tab on the right of the home page screen and after selecting the transactions sub-tab on the left. This will lead you to a list of the reference numbers, dates, prices, categories and payment methods of your transactions, also you are able to view an invoice of each.
13. Can I view my ad before I process it?
On the print ad's in Step 3 after you have written the body text you have the ability to preview the ad through an icon to the right of your writing area. It will give you a feel for what your ad will look like with the picture and text you selected to use.
14. What is the difference between the 3 packages offered?
The 3 packages that iFlog offers are: Premium, Free and Online.

15. Can I customise the text design to suit my ad and me?
Yes, along the tool bar under the heading 'body text' in your steps of making an ad, you can change the style of writing, shape of the text etc by pressing the different buttons and highlighting the text you want to change.
16. What do I do if I forget my password?
First select the login icon below the iFlog logo on the home page and you will find under where you can enter your username and password, a 'forgot password?' link. Press this link and follow the prompt to enter in your email address, after you do an email will be sent out to you containing your username and password.
17. Will I be notified when one of my ads expires?
Yes, an email will be sent to the email address highlighted in personal details on the 'my account' tab, the email will notify you that the ad has expired and what options you have to continue.
18. What is the reason for the site?
iFlog was created to give the public a usable and accessible platform to do anything from selling equipment, looking for band members or seeking work. Musically minded, the website gives musicians a first hand outlet to producing and receiving information quicker and easier.
19. What type of classifieds does iFlog accept?
iFlog accepts any classified material as long as it is not offensive or sexually orientated. We check every classified that comes through and reserve the right to remove your ad and your user account if we consider you to have breached our conditions.
